Understanding Connect Groups

At SCC, we recognize the immense value of Connect Groups as a way to foster a sense of community among people who follow Jesus. These gatherings provide a space for our family of God to come together and share meals, prayer, scripture, ministry, encouragement, and support. We aim to create a welcoming family that includes everyone, making room for those who are new and those looking for a deeper sense of community and growth with Jesus at the center. Our goal is to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels at home and accepted. Our community follows the biblical approach of believers supporting each other through thick and thin – be it in times of grief or joy. The Connect Group structure we have in place fosters an environment of mutual support, where we can do life together and be there for one another.


Connect Groups at SCC run in three terms from January to December. Typically, 8-12 individuals meet weekly in different areas throughout our community. While some of our Core courses may be larger in size, we strive to make fostering connections between members as seamless as possible!

Seniors Connect Group

Join us Wednesdays from 10 AM – 1 PM at SCC for a meaningful time of worship, testimonies, teaching, open discussion, prayer, communion, and lunch. Together, we’ll explore what it means to carry God’s kingdom and bear fruit in every season.
